Quantitative data on neutron emission in the symmetrical fission region are obtained. The number of spurious events registered in this region has been reduced to 15–20%.
A programme for studying interactions of low-energy antineutrinos generated by a special nuclear pulse reactor is proposed. Apart from the experiments in ṽe−e scattering, the programme includes the investigation of electormagnetic properties of ṽe and the inverse β decay of proton and other nuclei.
The distribution of the total kinetic energy of additional fragments as a function of their mass ratio is measured with a gas ionization chamber.
The average number of neutrons emitted on fission of Pu239 by thermal and superthermal neutrons (Ew from 0.15 to 0.5 ev) is measured.
