In the studies of dynamics of fluids transfer and seismic activity in geodynamic testing areas of CIS countries some regularities of alteration of strain-deformed state of the earth’s crust were revealed, which are the basis and specify determinant character determinancy of the processes of preparation of catastrophic geodynamic events (earthquakes and volcanic eruptions). These regularities are connected with development of wave geodeformational processes produced by corresponding variations of the Earth rotation velocity. It has been shown that catastrophic earth-quakes of the recent years, including the earthquake in Japan on 11.03.2011 are within the limits of regularities revealed earlier.
An analysis was performed to compare results of deformometric measurements from the Caucasus orogen and data of fluid dynamic (emanation) monitoring geodeformation processes from the conjugated East European Platform. It allowed us to identify spectral components, first of all, in a range of lunar-solar tides that demonstrates a relationship between the analyzed fields and global geodeformation processes. Moreover, the analysis made it possible to reveal some prominent features of changes in the measured parameters during global changes in tense deformed state in the Earth's crust, in particular, during preparation and realization of catastrophic earthquakes in the Indian Ocean on 26 December, 2004 and 28 March, 2005.
In studies of the dynamics of the activation of karst and suffosion processes in the karst-hazardous districts of Nizhegorodsky oblast, temporal-spectral and correlation analyses are carried out on multiyear time series data on the number of sinkholes in the town of Dzerzhinsk, fluctuations in the water level in the Oka River, fluctuations in solar activity, and variations in the speed of the Earth’s rotation. It is shown that the dynamics of the karst and suffosion processes is related to variations in the regional fluid dynamics, which are controlled, in turn, by fluctuations in solar activity and in the speed of the Earth’s rotation.

Angular correlation functions are measured for the d alpha system in the reaction S-32(Li-6, d)Ar-36*(alpha)S-32 induced by 22- and 38-MeV Li-6 ions. It is found that, in the Ar-36 nucleus, there exist 5(-), 6(+), 7(-), 8(+), and 10(+) alpha-cluster states occurring in the excitation-energy range 11-25 MeV and forming a rotational band without parity splitting. These results supplement the pattern of the alpha-cluster structure of excited states that is currently believed to exist in light even-even nuclei from O-16 to Ti-44.
The possibility of use of reactions induced by /sup 14/N such as /sup 14/N+/sup 12/C..-->..d+/sup 12/C+/sup 12/C for study of quasimolecular states is investigated. The results indicate that such investigations are promising.
