Objective:To study the effect of Huangzhi Oral Liquid on ATP binding cassette transporter A1 (ABCA1) expression in THP-1 macrophage-derived foam cells, and explore its effects on AC. Methods: The mean ABCA1 fluorescence intensity of THP-1 macrophage-derived foam cells was detected by flow cytometry. ABCA1 mRNA was determined by RT-PCR. Results: The results showed that Huangzi Oral Liquid markedly increased the ABCA1 expression in the THP-1 macrophage-derived foam cells, accompanied with the up-regulation of ABCA1 found with ox-LDL. Conclusion: The level of ATP binding cassette transporter A1 (ABCA1) expression in THP-1 macrophage-derived foam cells can be up-regulated by Huangzhi Oral Liquid.

Objective To study the effect of concentrated menthence solution for diminishing inflammation in animal model.Methods The inflammation model was induced by rat paw edema caused with albumen and ear swelling caused with dimethylbenzene.The anti-inflammatory effect of concentrated menthence solution was observed.Results The high dosage of concentrated menthence solution and budesonide could diminish the inflammation of ear and inhibit the inflammation caused by albumen.The swelling rate of the high dosage of concentrated menthence solution was the lowest.Compared with the dissolvent group,the high dosage of concentrated menthence solution had significant anti-inflammatory action(P < 0.01).Conclusion The concentrated menthence solution has the obvious effects diminishing inflammation.

鼻咽癌为我国南方各省的高发肿瘤,EB病毒在鼻咽癌的发生中也起着关键的作用。近年来随着EB病毒感染的基础及临床研究的深入,中药在拮抗EB病毒抗原、抗体产生,降解EB病毒的DNA增强放疗敏感性,影响EB病毒感染B淋巴细胞等方面均显示出一定作用,现综述如下。

Objective:To investigate the anti-inflammatory analgesic and anti-febrile effects of Qiangyin Jiere Mixture(QYM).Methods:The ebrile model of rats was induced by injecting fresh yeast subcutaneously.The acute ear edema model of mice was induced with dimethylbenzene.The foot edema model of rats was induced with egg white.The pain models were established by acetic acid and hot plate in mice.Results:QYM depressed the fervescence by yeast effectively in rats,inhibited foot edema in rats and ear swelling in mice and inhibited the pain evidently caused by acetic acid and hot plate in mice.Conclusion:QYM has obvious antiinflammatory,analgesic and antifebric effect.

Nasopharyngeal cancer is the tumor with high incidence in the south provinces of China.Its etiological factors are related with the infection of EB virus,heredity and environment,etc..Recently with the developing of the foundational and clinical study on the nasopharyngeal cancer,the traditional Chinese medicine has displayed the good effects on the preventing and curing of nasopharyngeal cancer,regulating organism completely and lengthening patients' life span.

OBJECTIVE:To study the mechanism of trazodone in boosting serum NO level in male rats and to explore its correlation with the improvement of erectile dysfunction(ED).METHODS:50 male rats were divided into normal control group,low,medium and high doses trazodone groups(21mg/(kg· d),42mg/(kg· d)and 84mg/(kg· d))and viagra positive control group of 10 rats each.Normal control group were intragastrically fed with physiological saline tid for 3 consecutive days;trial groups were administered intragastrically with trazodone that was made into pasty with aqua pro injectione at a dosage of 0.5ml/100g tid for 3 consecutive days;positive control group were administered with viagra 46.5mg/kg twice on the experimental day.Following the instruction of NO kit,rats were killed by decapitation,and blood sample were taken for determination of serum NO level.RESULTS:NO levels were all significantly increased in 3 groups,and all the 3 groups and the positive control group showed significant differences as against the normal control group in NO level(P0.01);medium and high doses trazodone groups showed significant differences as against positive control group(P0.01),while no significant difference was noted between low-dose trazodone group and positive control group(P0.05).CONCLUSION:Trazodone can significantly increase NO level.The mechanism of Viagra in treating ED is accountable for the mechanism of trazodone for ED,which may be associated to its action in promoting NO release.
