This paper discusses the reason of segregation of expanded perlite lightweight aggregate concrete. By adding fly ash, high effective admixture, the expanded perlite pre-wetting and so on,the expanded perlite lightweight concrete,CL5-CL10,was confect with good workability, homogeneity, no bleeding and segregation, easy casting and excavation.
The research adopts the raw material of 89% slag with the composite activators and the compressive strength, hydration heat, temperature and expansion property of the material are studied. And the new cementitious material is obtained with the properties of low-heat and small expansion, convenience-confect, easy-operation and need no mass production. This material has the remarkable economic profit and good application foreground especially in the mass grouting engineering.
Rapid carbonation test and gas permeability radio method are used to study the durability of lightweight aggregate concrete. The concrete includes foam,lightweight aggregate,pre-wetting and air entraining. The test results show that The combined-effect of air entraining agent(AEA)and aggregate pre-wetting can increase permeability. The anti-carbonation capacity of pre-wetting and air entraining lightweight aggregate concrete is 40% greater than that of ordinary concrete.gas permeability radio of pre-wetting and air entraining lightweight aggregate concrete is half of that foam concrete and expanded pearlite concrete.
