Young Hailan chicken are injected with Epimedium-proplis mixture twice on 3th day and 10th day respectively.The blood samples were taken at 7,14,21 and 28 days old.The measurement indexes of cell immunity contain transformation level of lymphoid cell,the formation rate of E-rose garland and the content of lysozyme in serum.The result shows that Epimedium-proplis mixture can obviously increase the conversion level of lymphoid cell and the formation rate of E-rose garland of young chicken,so it is an effective insulation for single nuclear-monocyte system of young chicken,and has long-lasting effective period and good effection.Theory and experiment roots were provided by this test for Epimedium-Proplis mixture used as immunity enhancer in practice.
