Objective:To investigate the chest physical therapy on sputum drainage in elderly patients with lung cancer after treatment. Methods:the chest physical therapy in our hospital from 2012 October to 2013 October using the operation treatment of 40 cases of postoperative elderly patients, including deep breathing, effective sputum, chest percussion, vibration sputum, postural drainage, mechanical at raction. Results:after chest physical therapy, 40 patients with postoperative pulmonary infection occurred in 3 cases, including 2 cases of atelectasis, 1 cases died, the mortality rate was 0.25%, the cause of death was respiratory failure complicated with heart failure. Conclusion:through the chest physical therapy can decrease pulmonary infection, pulmonary atelectasis and other complications, to promote early recovery of patients have a positive effect.
Objective:To study the expression of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) in breast cancer tissue and normal epithelial tissue, and to study the relationship between COX-2 and the prognosis of the breast cancer. Methods:The primary breast cancer(n=98) and adjacent normal epithelial tissue(n=20) were analyzed for COX-2 expression by immunohistochemical method using specific monoclonal antibodies. Results:The expression of COX-2 in breast cancer and normal epithelial tissue had significant difference in statistics(P<0.05).A significant correlation was found between the survival period and pathological stage, estrogen receptor positive and P185 positive(RR=1 6.619,0.377,2.952 respectively). The five-year-survival rate of COX-2 positive expression was 80.9%,and 93.3% for negative expression(Log-Rank test,P=0.34)Conclusion:The cyclooxygenase-2 may be participated the whole course of carcinogenesis of breast cancer, but not is absolute factor for estimate the survival rate of the patients with breast cancer.
