In order to improve the surface quality of cold rolled steel sheets annealed by the continuous annealing unit and prevent the steel sheets from scratching or tearing due to the unbalance of cooling pressure between the upper surface and lower surface of steel sheets, the master-slave balanced control for the cooling fans in fast cooling section of the continuous annealing unit was improved.The practice showed that the old rolled steel sheets annealed by the continuous annealing unit passed through the annealing production line stably and effectively so that the quality problems such as the scratches on the surface of steel sheets caused by the fast cooling nozzles were never seen again.
The temperature uniformity on radiant tube wall was effected by its combustion process.It is studied by the thermal simulation method.The result indicated that fullness degree of smoke in radiant tube was higher,the concentrated of high temperature region was diluted,NOx formation descended,convection heat transfer strengthened,and the tube wall temperature changes from 114~141℃.
According to the technical characteristics of the skin pass mill in No. 4 continuous annealing unit of the Cold Rolled Strip Steel Mill of Angang Steel Co., Ltd., the closed-loop control system for the elongation of the skin pass mill was analyzed and studied theoretically based on the elongation control theory and the actual conditions on site and then the corresponding optimum scheme for the system was worked out. After the scheme was put into operation, the production capacity of the skin pass mill and the product quality were improved with good application effect.
