The effects of fertilization time on quality and yield of different rice panicle type were studied by different fertilization time experiment. This experiment provided the instruction for the good quality and high yield rice. Field trials were conducted to analyze 5 quality indexes of rice, to determine the best treatment of fertilization. The results showed that quality and yield of rice panicle number type were the best and the highest when fertilizers were applied as base, tillering and granular fertilizer. And the yield was increased by 34.3% . And the taste value of rice was 4 higher than other treatments. But quality and yield of rice panicle weight type ' XiXuan1 ' were the best and the highest when fertilizers were applied as base, tillering, panicle and granular fertilizer. And the yield was increased by 22.6%, the taste value of rice was 7 higher than other treatments.
