Shanghan Zabing Lun established the model treatment combined with decoction and acupuncture,it brought out the best in each other in clinical.However it was pitiful of that many doctors in generations paid less attention to acupuncture therapy more than medicine.The treatment of TCM transited from the combination method of acupuncture and decoction to use of medicine which deeply lost Zhongjing's meaning of writing books.This paper aims to explore Zhongjing's idea of combination of acupuncture and medicine,in order to study Zhongjing's doctrine comprehensively.
