The nano-insertion-composite between MMT and epoxy resin(EP) molecule was accomplished when EP matrix resin was inserted between nano-MMT layers by organic treatment. With matrix resin,DBP toughener,nano-MMT filler and JA-1 curing agent as four factors,and the tensile shear strength of nano-MMT/EP adhesive as evaluation index,so the optimal composition of nano-MMT/EP adhesive was preferred by orthogonal experiment method,and the relationship between various factors was discussed under interaction condition. The experiment results showed that the tensile shear strength(23.65 MPa) was maximum when mass ratio of E-44∶E-51∶DBP∶MMT∶ JA-1was 30∶70∶17∶3∶25 in adhesive composition.
