To establish an effective method for diagnosis of Gosling plague. We immuned goose and picked up goose anti-GP IgG, marked with FITC and acquired immunofluorescence antibody which directly diagnosis Gosling plague. The immunofluorescence antibodywas examined by absorb experiment and specific inhibit experiment. The result showed that the method of immunofluorescence antibody diagnosis of Gosling plague was higher, specific and sensitive.
Two multivalent inactivated vaccines (multivalent propolis vaccine and oil emulsion vaccine) were prepared with mixed three serotype strains ofRiemerella anatipestifer (RA): JYL-1, JYL-2, JYL-7, (1, 2, 7 three serotypes) using two adjuvants: propolis and oil emulsions, respectively. The results showed that polyvalent propolis-adjuvant inactivated vaccine had advantages such as a high speed production of immune protection and a long duration immunity. Partial protective immunity could be detected 3 days after inoculation, while complete protection were remained at the 120 days after inoculation. Polyvalent oil emulsion-adjuvant inactivated vaccine produced protection more slowly. Partial protective immunity could be detected 10 days after inoculation, and the complete protection were also remained at the 120 daysafter inoculation. 13 days after immunization, immunoprotection rate was up to about 90%. 16 days after immunization, the immunoprotection rate was 100%. 120 days after immunization, the immunoprotection rate of both two polyvalent vaccine could reach 100%, 150-180 days after immunization, immunoprotection rate was about 80%. Statistical analysis of safety tests showed that the safety of the vaccines was good, because immunization with triple doses of vaccine made no significant adverse reactions. It is not affect the immune efficiency of vaccines when storing them at 4℃ for one year, or at 18 - 22℃ (room temperature) for 4 months. Field tests showed that after immunization with the vaccines, the ducks could resist against the infection of Riemerella anatipestifer effectively.
