Objective:To detect the expression of cytokines corresponding to lymphocyte subpopulations in patients with osteoporosis and further investigate their correlation with osteoporosis, and to explore the predictive value of interleukin-17 (IL-17) and interleukin-2 (IL-2) of osteoporosis.Methods:Serum samples were collected from 40 cases (13 males and 27 females, 75.58±1.90 years) of osteoporosis and 35 healthy subjects (10 males and 25 females, 71.67±1.99 years) of similar age, and their lymphocyte subpopulation corresponding cytokine levels, type I collagen carboxy-terminal prepeptide (PINP) and β-collagen degradation product (β-CTX) levels were measured using flow cytometry and chemiluminescence, respectively; BMD of the patients was measured using dual-energy X-ray bone densitometry; the working curves of the subjects were used to evaluate the predictive efficacy of IL 17 and IL-2 predictive efficacy by subject work curves.Results:Compared to healthy controls (386.9±39.81 pg/ml), β-CTX expression was up-regulated in osteoporosis patients (563.7±57.25 pg/ml) with statistically significant differences (P<0.05), and PINP expression had a tendency to be up-regulated without statistically significant differences; in addition, IL-2, IL-10 and IL-17 showed significantly high expression (P<0.05), while only the expression of IL-2 and IL-17 correlated with BMD (r=-0.272, r=-0.380, P<0.05); further the ROC curve calculated that the area under the curve of IL-17 and IL-2 were 0.874 and 0.625, respectively.Conclusions:IL-17 and IL-2 expression levels were significantly up-regulated in osteoporotic patients, and IL-17 can be used as a predictor for the diagnosis of osteoporosis.
Objectives Our study aimed to explore the relationship between leptin and IFN-γ in PCOS patients, and confirmed the effect of leptin-induced IFN-γ on granulosa cells furtherly.Methods 29 patients with PCOS and 36 healthy controls were enrolled. Leptin level and the proportion of Th1 cells were detected and association between them were analyzed. Meanwhile, peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) isolated from PCOS patients were treated with leptin and then the proportion of Th1 was analyzed. Besides that, the apoptotic level of KGN cells was monitored after IFN-γ treatment.Results In the circulation of PCOS patients, leptin level dramatically increased compared with controls. And, this was associated with upregulated Th1 cells proportion and IFN-γ level. In vitro, Th1 cells proportion increased after leptin treated PBMCs from PCOS patients. Furthermore, for KGN cells, the percentage of live cells decreased and later apoptosis cells increased after IFN-γ treatment.Conclusions Our results indicated that leptin takes part in process of PCOS via inducing expression of IFN-γ. Our findings highlight the importance of the connection between leptin and inflammation in PCOS and provide new insights therapeutic strategy for this disease.
目的 探讨哺乳期乳房脓肿患者脓液涂片革兰染色镜检与最终培养结果的一致性,分析主要致病菌金黄色葡萄球菌的药敏结果.方法 对123位哺乳期乳房脓肿患者的脓液标本进行革兰染色镜检和常规需氧培养,并对培养出的89例金黄色葡萄球菌进行药敏试验.结果 123例脓液标本涂片检出细菌103例,与培养结果一致率为92.2%;涂片未检出细菌20例,与培养结果一致率为55.0%.培养出金黄色葡萄球菌89株,占培养阳性例数84.0%,且各年份间金黄色葡萄球菌占培养阳性的比例及对常用抗生素的耐药率差异无统计学意义(P>0.05).结论 对哺乳期乳房脓肿患者的脓液标本进行涂片革兰染色镜检结果与培养结果的一致性较高,且分离的金黄色葡萄球菌对常用抗生素的耐药率稳定,本研究可以给临床医师经验性用药提供依据促进抗生素的合理使用,协助临床快速诊断.
目的 探讨血浆D-二聚体检测在小儿慢性腹痛鉴别诊断中的临床价值.方法 采用回顾性分析的方法,选取泰州市人民医院儿科诊治的318例慢性腹痛患儿的临床资料.所有患儿入院后均常规做血 、尿 、粪常规检查;肝功能 、肾功能 、电解质 、C反应蛋白 、心电图 、腹部B超检查及血浆D-二聚体检测.血浆D-二聚体超过500μg/L视为异常,视病情选择腹部平片 、CT或内窥镜检查.结果 318例慢性腹痛患儿中,肠系膜淋巴结炎135例,急性胃炎95例,慢性胃炎31例,消化性溃疡23例,腹型过敏性紫癜13例,肠道蛔虫症5例,其他16例.318例患儿中,血浆D-二聚体升高11例;血浆D-二聚体升高的患儿中,腹型过敏性紫癜9例,占腹型过敏性紫癜的69.23%;消化性溃疡2例,占消化性溃疡的8.7%.结论 不明原因的慢性腹痛患儿,如果血浆D-二聚体升高,应高度怀疑腹型过敏性紫癜的可能,提醒医生应注意仔细观察皮肤有无紫癜的出现.
目的:通过对精神分裂症患者肌酸激酶(CK)异常增高的分析,合理解释增高的原因,为临床提供合理、有效、及时、准确的报告。方法新入院精神分裂症患者70例作为分析对象,按是否伴有明显兴奋行为分为兴奋组58例,不兴奋组12例。同时选取80名健康体检者作为正常对照组。测定3组的心肌酶谱和肌钙蛋白并比较分析。结果兴奋组和不兴奋组CK活性均明显高于正常对照组,差异有统计学意义(均P<0.01)。兴奋组CK活性又明显高于不兴奋组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。心肌酶谱CK-MB轻度增高,肌钙蛋白正常。结论精神分裂症患者CK活性可以作为诊断兴奋行为的生物学标志之一。
Objective To explore the relationship between serum TGF-β1 and SOD,MDA levels in patients with alcoholic cirrhosis.Methods Serum TGF-β1(with RIA),serum SOD,MDA(with chemistry) levels were measured in 36 patients with alcoholic cirrhosis and compared with 35 normal healthy controls.Results Serum TGF-β1,MDA levels were significantly higher than those in controls(P<0.01).But serum SOD level was markedly lower(P<0.01),serum TGF-β1 level was positively correlate with MDA level(r=0.6138,P<0.01),serum TGF-β1 level was negatively correlated with SOD level(r=-0.3784,P<0.01).Conclusion Changes of serum TGF-β1,SOD,MDA levels might be of certain clinical value for mornitoring therapeutic effects and prognosis in patients with alcoholic cirrhosis.
Objective To evaluate the relations between CK19-2G2 and the other serologic markers of lung cancer diagnosis.Methods Chemiluminescence immunoassay was used to detect the level of serum CK19-2G2 in 71 patients with lung cancer,52 patients with benign lung diseases and 40 healthy individuals.The CEA,NSE and Cyfra211 were detected simultaneously.Results The levels of serum CK19-2G2 in patients with lung cancer were significant higher than that in healthy control groups and benign lung diseases groups(all P < 0.01).There was not significant difference between the healthy control group and benign lung disease group.Correlation analysis results suggested that the serum CK19-2G2 levels in patients with lung cancer were positively related to CEA,NSE and Cyfra211(r = 0.234,P < 0.01;r = 0.272,P < 0.01;r = 0.529,P < 0.01).The diagnostic efficiency of CK19-2G2 to lung cancer was 84.05%,and it higher than that of CEA,NSE and Cyfra211.Conclusion The serum CK19-2G2 levels in patients with lung cancer were positively related to CEA,NSE and Cyfra211.It may be a good new serologic marker of lung cancer diagnosis,and the diagnostic efficiency is higher than that of CEA,NSE and Cyfra211.
Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value of CK19-2G2,CEA,NSE and Cyfra21-1 in the patients with lung cancer.Methods: Chemiluminescence immunoassay was used to detect the serum CK19-2G2 in 71 patients with lung cancer,52 patients with benign lung diseases and 40 healthy individuals.The CEA,NSE and Cyfra21-1 were detected simultaneously.The sensitivity and specificity of single or combined biomarkers were evaluated,Roc curves were protracted and the area below ROC curve was calculated.Results: Single-biomarker detection showed that sensitivity and specificity of CK19-2G2 were 69.01% and 95.56%,respectively,higher than CEA,NSE and Cyfra21-1,with the largest area below ROC curve(area:0.783;95%credible interval 0.699-0.868).Multi-biomarkers detection showed that sensitivity could be raised to 84.51%,with the sum of sensitivity and specificity being the biggest.Conclusion: CK19-2G2 was a highly sensitive adjunctive marker for detecting lung cancer,and has an important role in screening for early stage lung cancer patients when combined with CEA,NSE and Cyfra21-1.
目的:观察卵巢癌手术治疗前后,血清可溶性上皮钙黏蛋白(sE-cad)、可溶性P选择素和CA125水平的变化。方法:应用放免法测定32例卵巢癌患者血清CA125含量,酶联法测定血清sE-cad、P-选择素含量,并与35例正常人组做比较。结果:卵巢癌患者在手术前血清sE-cad、P-选择素和CA125水平非常显著地高于正常人组(P<0.01)。手术治疗后6个月复发者sE-cad、P-选择素和CA125水平持续异常,未复发者sE-cad、P-选择素和CA125水平恢复正常。结论:血清sE-cad、P-选择素和CA125水平的变化与卵巢癌患者的病情和预后密切相关,有一定的临床实用价值。
Objective To investigate the serum expression of leptin and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in patients with breast cancer and assess its diagnostic significance.Methods Thirty-six patients with breast cancer and thirty-one patients with benign breast disorders entered this study.Serum concentration of leptin(with RIA) and VEGF(with ELISA) were determined in these patients before operation as well as in 56 controls.All the tested subjects were post-menopausal women.Results The difference between the leptin levels in the controls and patients with benign breast disorders was significantly;80 was the difference between the leptin levels in controls and patients with breast cancer.Significant difference also existed between the VEGF levels in controls and patients with cancer as well as between the levels in patietns with benign breast disease and patients with cancer.Also,the serum leptin and VEGF levels in the cancerous patients with axillary metastasis were significantly higher than those in patietns without metastasis.Conclusion Serum leptin and VEGF might be taken as diagnostic tumor markers for malignanay and metastasis in patients with breast cancer.
