Located in the west Inner Mongolia, the potential factors of desertification in Ba Yan Nor city are existed extensively. The land exploitations over many years have made the deserted land bigger and bigger and caused the ecological environment seriously damaged. To curb desertification and recover ecological balance gradually is an important task to realize sustainable development of local level.

According to reliant data and chemical theory, the new method and new thinking of industrial chromium residue and chromium-contained wastewater treatment are put forward and applied into practice.
