The motion of particle group has been a hot and difficult problem in the field of multiphase flow,and lattice Boltzmann( LB) method is a natural parallel mesoscopic method which is apt to handle complex boundaries. In this work,LB-EBF method is used for simulation of threedimensional particle group settlement,and we give detailed analyses of the settlement laws of 1 152 particles in three aspects: velocity analysis and statistics analysis of three-dimensional multi-particle sedimentation, position analysis and statistics analysis of three-dimensional multi-particle sedimentation, and analysis of the interaction between particle group and flow field in the sedimentation.
By analyzing the status,trends and characteristics of the wave power,a Permanent-Magnet Linear Generator based on the spring oscillator as a linear promoter was proposed.Through simplifying the structure of the device and building a mathematical model,several differential equations are built based on the linear wave theory,which portray the relationship between the force of waves and time.Using Laplace transform and inverse transform,the relationship of the relative displacement of the linear promoter and the stator changing over time is gained,and then the generating power of the device can be calculated.Selecting a set of parameters on certain condition,took a simulation experiment with the software MATLAB,and then draw a displacement-time graph and P-c-k relation curves.The result indicates that the power of this device can reach 78.6 W in the designed parameters.
