For the high voltage circuit breaker field test of closing resistance and loop resistance,a new circuit breaker closing resistance instrument was designed in this paper.A super capacitor was used as test power source,and a DSP was used as the controller and the processor for data acquisition.And cascaded AD526s amplified the weak signal.The closing resistance,loop resistance and closing resistance pre-insertion time can be measured in a switching operation.Field test results showed the resistance can be measured with high precision and reliability.Besides,the application of the instrument can reduce the high voltage circuit breakers' field test time and improve test efficiency.
