The purpose of this work was the study of neuromuscular characteristics of healthy infants and infants with movement disorders by method of surface electromyography. 76 children at the age from 6 months till 3 years participated in the investigation: 61 with movement disorders (13--with ataxic form of cerebral palsy (CP), 48--with spastic form of CP) and 15 without movement disorders. Passive flexing and extending of knee and hip joints was conducted to the child in a recumbent position, EMG activity of the basic muscles groups of a hip and a shin was recorded. Characteristic properties of electromyographic activity were assessed with wavelet transform and subsequent analysis of obtained time dependencies. As a result of work the parameters connected with diagnosis of infants with movement disorders were revealed.
This paper deal with the technology of the early noninvasive diagnostics of neurological disorders. A new approach to the diagnostics of neurological disorders, based on recording and subsequent frequency analysis of the oscillations of the human body and its parts caused by the rhythmic beating of the heart, breathing, contraction of separate motor units, etc. The testing results of technology items by analyzing features of the motion regulation in patients with Parkinson΄s disorders are described. It is shown that the most complete information for such a diagnosis provides a hardware-software complex based on distributed set of force-torque sensors.
Hardware-software complex for diagnostics of functional and psychophysiological states of sitting subjects based on special armchair equipped by several force plates and force-torque sensor is described.
The parameters of postural regulation in patients with Parkinson disease were studied with automatic stabilographic system Stabilan. The study included the analysis of posture during maintenance of steady position and also the trials in which subjects were asked to change body position.
Stabilography is the effective diagnostic indicator in clinics and an important tool in the system of professional screening. Changes of state of many physiological organs and systems, from muscles to brain cortex find reflection in alternations in maintenance of orthograde posture.
