通过对分布在汕头市国道、省道、高速公路等重要交通干线两侧第一面山可视范围内的裸露山体边坡现状进行调查,按立地土壤类型(土质坡面、岩质坡面)和坡度大小(低缓坡面、陡坡立面和垂直立面)进行分类,结合部分交通干线可视范围内裸露山体植被恢复实施效果,根据裸露山体边坡特征提出相对应的植被恢复方案,总结出经济可行、以人工种植为主促进自然更新的植被恢复技术措施.

The effects of sunshade net and fertilizer types on the growth of Dendrobium candidum were studied. The plant height,stem length,stem diameter,leaf number,leaf length and leaf width were selected as growth indexes of D.candidum.The results showed that the main growth period of stem length of D.candidum was from May to September and stop growing in other months.Therefore,it is suggested to topdress the organic fertilizer from May to September to improve the output of D.candidum and save cultivation cost.The results also showed that shading with 1 layer 2-pin sunshade net was the best in this study to improve stem length of D.candidum,and topdressing bean fertilizer、peanut fertilizer could promote D.candidum stem length obviously,which could effectively improve the output of D.candidum.
The effect of different soil texture, seed maturity and flesh on seed germination and seedling growth of Syzygium nervosum were studied in this paper. During twelve weeks after seedling, the results showed that different soil texture had little effect on final germination rate, but had significant influence on the speed of germination and plants height. The germination speed from sandy soil was the fastest of all, and loam soil the second, sandy loam soil the third. The average height of plants from sandy soil was the highest of all, and sandy loam soil the second, loam soil the third. The maturity of seed had significant influence on germination rate and average height. The average height of plants by mature seeds was the highest of all, and the average height of plants by immature seeds was higher than that by over-mature seeds. The flesh had little effect on germination rate and height of plants, but it had influence on speed of premature germination.
Based on quantity indexes (DBH, tree height and individual volume), in combination with quality indexes (under-branch height, stem straightness, tapering grade, canopy density and branch size), the selection criterion of Acacia confusa superior trees was established by using method of ifve-dominant-trees contrast. The investigations on A. confusa plus trees selection were carried out by using the designed superior tree selection criteria in nine test sites of Guangdong province, such as Shantou Xihuan Mountain, Chaozhou Gubi Mountain and Xianchun Village, Huizhou Xihu Park Baota Mountain and so on. The 43 candidate trees and 215 contrast trees were ifltered out for statistical analysis. According to the results, a set of technical standards of A. confusa superior trees selection for Guangdong province were summarized as follows:the selected excellent tree’s tree height should be greater than that of 5 average dominant tree, the selected excellent tree’s DBH should be greater than or equal to 5 1.17 times of the average DBH of 5 average dominant tree, the selected excellent tree’s single tree timber volume should be greater than or equal to 1.52 times of that of 5 average dominant tree per tree, and the tree form quality index 0.33A (tapering grade score)+0.32B (stem straightness score)+0.35C (canopy density score) should be greater than 2. Lastly, nineteen superior trees in 43 candidate trees were selected according this criterion and the selected ratio was 44.2%.

With Acacia confusa secondary forests as the research object in Chao Yang Xi Huan Shan Forest Park,the paper deals with the exploration of the effect of different community on the distribution of understory wood plants.12 plots,each 400m2,have been set up along the altitude gradient in typical sampling method.26 understory wood plants,which belong to 15 families and 23 genera,have been recorded.The result of multi-response permutation procedures(MRPP)shows that,there are significant differences in the distribution of understory wood plants in different site factors(A=0.468 7,0.132 5,P=0.000 8,0.042 3,respectively).Furthermore,Indicator Species Analysis(ISA) identifies indicator species with a significant indicator value≥60 in different site factors.Two-way Cluster Analysis reveals the difference in spatial distribution of understory wood plants,and divided 3 ecological groups.This study has elaborated the response of understory wood plants in different site factors in Acacia confusa secondary forests.This has important theoretical significance and practical value for biodiversity conservation and vegetation restoration.
The paper introduced morphological features,ecological characteristics and growth performance of Terminalia mantaly in Shantou area.Terminalia mantaly showed good growth and stress resistance,so it was suitable for garden landscape and road shade in coastal area of Shantou.This paper also summed up some cultivation and management technology of Terminalia mantaly.
Potential plus-trees have been classified in plantation of Acacia confusa in Xihuanshan Forest Park in Chaoyang district of Shantou city,based on the method of small sample plot.The main 10 factors were determined in the survey including tree height,diameter in breast height,tree crown and so on.The results show that the suitable range of investigation was 15~20 meters,the diameter in breast height,stem volume,tapering,stem straightness,crown width and lateral branches had greater contribution rate to the plus-tree selection of Acacia confuse than other factors.The calculated results show that the lowest borderline of plus-trees selection was 63.1 points,of the five per-selected trees,four potential plus-trees were selected as plus-trees,and the selection rate was 0.7%.
