On the basis of the policy document of the Confucius Institute Development Plan (2012-2020), this paper puts forward four ideal models of Confucius Institute throughout the world: the Chinese language teaching model, the cultural communication model, the Chinese language teaching and vocational training model, and the sinologist training model. The paper then selects one Confucius Institute to represent each model and compares the characteristics of the four models. The paper concludes that Confucius Institutes cannot achieve sustainable development unless they tailor themselves to the local demands and cultural milieu in the target countries and institutions.

精致化以管理理念、教育模式和价值追求为理论内涵,强调科学管理与人本管理相结合,提倡“人本性”、“科学性”、“绩效性”和“可持续性”.随着研究的不断深入,精致化管理理念的研究已经从基础教育延展至高等教育领域.在高校教学管理工作中,队伍建设、管理理念、管理方式方面存在不足,而精致化管理有助于借鉴先进的管理办法弥补教学管理工作中的盲点,为改进高校教学管理水平提供有利支撑.
