This paper uses the full wave method to study the fast wave current drive (FWCD) problem for Ion cyclotron resonance frequency (ICRF). It exists in such plasma bodies as circumferential Tokamak. The research has considered finite Larmor radius effect (FLR) and flattened dispersion. It found the physical model for full wave calculation-full wave method. Through the numerical solution of full wave method, the distribution of electric field strength can be obtained, which is stimulated and produced when fast wave stays in plasma body.
A full wave numerical method is developed for fast wave current drive in tokamak plasmas, in which finite Larmor radius effects and parallel dispersion are taken into account. A physical model with full wave are developed. Electric field distribution in radial is obtained. It shows that fast wave can propagate to central plasma; Mode conversion happened near central plasmas; Fast wave can drive current in centre to improve balance current profile; Parallel electric is weaker than that in vertical direction. The current is droven by Landau damping and transit-time magnetic pumping.
In the condition of reactor scale plasma, the influence of incident wave power density on electron cyclotron current drive and power deposition is studied with the relativistic Fokker-Planck equation incorporated into a beam-tracing code. The results show that current drive efficiency is reduced slightly, power deposition profile is broaden and move towards the edge plasma a little, due to the high power density wave beam.
Samples were excited by pulse laser and plasma was formed at atmospheric pressure. The technique of laser induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS) was applied to analyzing the carbon content in the samples. The matrix element Si was selected as internal standard, calibration curves were drawn respectively using the peak intensity of carbon line and the intensity ratio of carbon line and silica line. The fitting degree of two different calibration curves, signal reproducibility and the accuracy of calibrated values were analyzed. The results of the analysis show that the intensity ratio method seems more adequate than the peak intensity method for establishing the calibration cures.
