Booming of nonwovens industry in China in recent 10 years,represented by SMS nonwovens,brings about the rise of relative machinery segment.In view of the whole spunmelt nonwovens market of China,imported production lines like Recofil IV,are dominant the high-end market.This article took an overall look of the development of domestic SMS nonwovens machinery,in terms of the history,state of the technology,gaps to the leading manufacturers overseas,etc.Furthermore,some suggestions on the future development were put forward in the end.

With spunlaid production line going for multi-beam,wider,high-speed,high production capacity and more efficient,the winder correspondingly,is tend to be wider,faster,more reliable,more automatic,and with separate functions of winding and slitting.Basic principle of winder was introduced in this paper,as well as the requirements of the production line.Furthermore,some suggestions were put forward based on analyzing the characteristics and application of winders from some leading producers abroad.
