In the context of rapid growth of science and technology,and progress of economic globalization,traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has got rapid popularization and development worldwide.As the demand for standards and standardization is becoming increasingly prominent,the international organization as well as their standards will play more significant roles.This article expounds on the relationships between TCM international organizations and main international standard agencies,compare the standards of TCM international organizations with those issued by the standard agencies,as well as its relationship with laws and regulations of various countries.It also discusses the internal momentum and tendency for standard implementation.
