In 2001, approved by the Ministry of Education, eight-year medical education program started to set up by Peking University Health Science Center.To further deepen the understanding and awareness of eight-year medical education, and reflect the process of teaching reform, we looked into the cognitive environment and evaluation of teaching activities and curriculum and other related issues for 2001 grade students of medical program.The surveys showed that we get some achievements in the teaching activities and curriculum development under the guidance of all the way training of quality and research capacity.But there are still some shortcomings and needs for a further reflection and exploration.

随着医学和医学教育的快速发展,医学生临床沟通技能的培养显得日益迫切.我国许多医学教育专家也一直在大力呼吁加强医学生的临床沟通能力的培训.全国人大常委会副委员长、北京大学医学部主任韩启德院士早在2003年北大医学部教育教学工作会议上的讲话中指出:"我们培养的人才,从人的素质和知识结构上讲,都存在很大的缺陷,主要问题不是出在手术做不了或患者诊断不了,我们的毕业生到了美国,尽管英文不好,只要用功都能通过医师资格考试,最主要的问题出在怎样跟人讲话、交流上".
