With the increasingly opening in electricity market, the maturing of distributed generation (DG) technology and the proposing and completing of related policies and regulations, regional energy supplier is stimulated to build distributed generation. This paper proposes a bi-level programming model of active distribution network considering the benefit of regional energy supplier. The maximization of comprehensive benefit of regional energy supplier is taken as the objective of upper level, and the lower level is optimized for each scene, which considered the uncertainties of distributed generation output and load, as well as four active management measures including regulating reactive power compensation capacity, curtailing the output power of DG, regulating the on-load tap changer and demand-side management. A hybrid strategy combining harmony search strategy and particle swarm optimization is proposed to solve the model. The model and algorithm is tested with IEEE-33 node system. The simulation results show that the model and algorithm in this paper can increase the capacity of DG and comprehensive benefit of regional energy supplier.
In order to adapt to active distribution network which will have large-scale distributed generation (DG) and high level of automation in the future, active management measures must be considered in the planning stage to optimize system operation. And the existing research of distribution network reactive compensation planning ignores the uncertainty of DG and load.Aiming to solve the problems, this paper proposes reactive compensation optimal allocation model in active distribution network based on the uncertainties of intermittent DG and load power. The lowest reactive compensation capacitors investment cost and network loss cost are taken as the objective of upper level. And considering two active management measures including regulating reactive power compensation capacity and regulating the on-load tap changer, the lower level optimizes for each scene. This paper uses K-means clustering method to reduce the scene, and combines with the harmonic search algorithm and particle swarm algorithm to solve the model. And simulative results of IEEE-33 distribution system verify the effectiveness of the model and solution methods.
As more and more distributed generation access to distribution network, the active distribution network has become the future development trend of the distribution network. This paper introduces the difference of planning between the active distribution network and the traditional distribution network, and proposes the basic process of the planning in active distribution network; Through the introduction of the deficiency of the planning in traditional distribution network, and then discusses the key elements of the planning in active distribution network, including planning objectives, active management measures, power prediction, comprehensive assessment of planning scheme.
