An autopsy case of a female patient of 65 years old was reported in the article. This case demonstrated clinical and anatomical features of chronic generalized sarcoidosis with predominant lesion of the lungs (extended bilateral fibrosis) and the kidneys (interstitial nephritis with segmental glomerulosclerosis). Long-term steroid therapy resulted in a significant slowing progression of the disease. This case was characterized by a prominent vasculitis which caused the misdiagnosis of ANCA- associated polyangiitis. Severe anemia and secondary immunodeficiency that were partially druginduced due to the long-term steroid therapy were other manifestations of this disease. The advanced disease was complicated by lower respiratory tract infection, acute respiratory distress-syndrome, and multiple organ dysfunction that caused the patient’s death. A comprehensive pathological investigation including immunohistochemistry had the crucial role for the final diagnosis.

Введение иммуномодуляторов способно частично корригировать гипергликемию, связанные с ней оксидативный стресс и неферментативное гликозилирование белков. Выявленные различия биохимических показателей крови, по-видимому, обусловлены особенностями механизма действия иммуномодуляторов.
This article shows that at the local and diffuse liver damage observed increase in the number of sinusoidal cells. Upon 3-aminoftalgidrazid stimulation of these cells regenerative processes developing in the liver are activated that results in increasing the number of proliferating hepatocytes.
L-17 compound of the group of substituted 5R1, 6H2-1,3,4-thiadiazine-2-amines was used to treat experimental pancreatonecrosis in rats. Aim. The aim of the study was to assess the possibility of correction of systemic inflammatory response in severe acute pancreatitis by the compound L-17 from the group of substituted 5R1, 6H2-1,3,4-thiadiazine-2-amines. Materials and methods. The trial was carried out on 30 outbred female rats with the average body weight 180-240g. each. For getting statistically reliable results, the groups of 15 animals were formed. The formation of pancreatic necrosis in rats was produced according to the author’s model (PCT Patent RF № 2400820 of 01.09.2008). After the formation of experimental pancreatic necrosis the animals were treated intraperitoneally with the compound L-17 at a dose of 40 mg/kg. The control group included 15 animals with an average weight of 220 grams, with experimental pancreatonecrosis. Results. The development of systemic inflammation in a group of animals with experimental acute pancreatitis was confirmed by the appearance of significant signs of systemic inflammation, low levels of monocytes, high levels of IL-1, IL-6, IL-10 and TNF. The use of compound L-17 in the treatment of experimental pancreatonecrosis reduces mortality from complications of 2, being the effective method of correcting of the systemic inflammation. Conclusion. The mechanism of the influence of compound L-17 on the emergence and the development of systemic inflammation may lie in the fact that it reduces the severity of exudative-destructive (purulent) inflammation and stimulates the development of productive (cell proliferative) inflammation.
The extent and factors in migration from urban to rural places in the USSR has been a neglected topic for research in the Soviet Union. A survey of a sample of urban-rural migrants in Vologda Oblast, northern European Russia, finds a considerable return stream of former rural residents who were unable to adapt to urban life styles, including a surprising number of young people. The composition and motives of these migrants are analyzed.
