The article is devoted to designing the high - frequency betatron. In high - frequency betatron most important problem is overheating of the elements of the body radiator unit. In an article some directions of solving this problem are shown.
The dynamic scheme and the simulation model of heavy truck for starting and parking maneuverability analysis are shown in the article. Simulation results of vehicle starting with the estimated values of research process are given in activity.
The paper deals with an efficiency estimation of automated mechanical transmission at off-line simulation stage. A simulation model of a vehicle with an automated power unit for gear change control strategy research has been developed in the paper. The paper contains a complex mathematical description of the analysis scheme. It allows adequately to react to structure reorganization and parameter change of the dynamic system at an application of external disturbances from the road and a driver. A peculiar feature of the developed software that is an opportunity of real-time modeling. This decision enables to estimate automated mechanical transmission operation at a wide spectrum of the driver’s actions. The experiment on a driving simulation of a heavy truck with 40000 kg GCW on a road climb has been carried out. The estimated values of driving on a route have been compared during gear changes in automatic and command modes by drivers of various qualification. The paper contains conclusions about efficiency of the analyzed gear change control strategy. A strategy for improvement of automated mechanical transmission controlling algorithms has been proposed in the paper.

The designed stand is intended for checking serviceability of automated taking-off system and gear change in transmission with a dry fnction clutch and mechanical gearbox. The paper gives principal stand scheme, description of its operation and list of instrumentation and functional links between a mechanical part of the stand and actuating, measuring and controlling blocks of microprocessor system.
The general characteristics and structure of new hybrid composites known as Glass Reinforced Aluminium Laminates (CHAJI* - GLARE-type) are given. The Laminates shows a superior fatigue and fracture resistance over traditional aluminium alloy sheets. The some particularities of the layer's composite behavior at low cycle fatigue (LCF) was examined using by metallographic and fractographic analyses.
The compact pulse betatron using electrons accelerated to an energy of up to 4 MeV (MIB-4) is designed for the radiographic inspection of reinforced-concrete structures and buildings, welded joints, various materials, and assemblies. Information which refines and complements the method of inspecting parts by means of the MIB-4 device is provided. The results obtained in testing this equipment abroad are given.
The authors study the excitation of stimulated emission of Ho/sup 3 +/ ions in a single crystal of YAlO/sub 3/ by waves of inter-Stark transitions of three generation channels /sup 5/S/sub 2/ to /sup 5/I/sub 5-7/ at 300 K with optical pumping. They also measure the main luminescence characteristics.
This article reports results of a study of the effect of the rate of current rise in the output windings of a betatron on the parameters of the resultant electron beam. It is shown that the rate of current rise in the windings only changes the duration of the radiation pulse associated with the beam and its delay relative to the initiation of the current pulse in the windings. The spatial distribution of the beam is determined mainly by the distribution of the magnetic field of the betatron. The findings obtained from the study made it possible to simplify the current pulse generator in the output-winding supply circuit of the PMB-6E betatron, reduce its size, and make it more reliable.
