Objective To explore the effect of nursing interventions on prevention and mitigation of gastrointestinal reactions induced by chemotherapy in patients with cancer.Methods 80 cases of cancer receiving intravenous chemotherapy were randomly divided into control group and experimental group,with 40 cases in each group.Control group was treated with conventional chemotherapy care and randomized antiemetic medication application,on the basis of routine nursing experimental group received systematic health education before chemotherapy,dietary intervention during chemotherapy,comfort care,timely antiemetic medication application and health education after chemotherapy.Result The rate of nausea and vomiting in experimental group during chemotherapy was significantly lower than that in control group,with statistically significant difference (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions It can effectively prevent and control gastrointestinal reactions induced by chemotherapy and reduce patients' suffering to strengthen health education,provide comfort care during chemotherapy and correctly grasp the timing of antiemetic medication.
