A new three-breed cross-hybrid of carp has been obtained in the fish farm «Kirya» of the Chuvash region (RF). A comparative assessment of the fingerlings showed the advantages of the cross over other crosses grown in the same farm (Sursky malokostny and Petrovsky) on a number of indicators: weight, body length, indices of high-spin, physical development. In the youngsters of the new cross, the intensity of hematopoiesis (erythropoiesis and leukopoiesis) is higher than in the rest of the studied crosses. The content of lysosomal cationic protein in the blood neutrophils of the new cross-hybrid is at an optimal level and indicates a good state of cellular immunity of fish.

A comparative study of some parameters of nonspecific immunity in the Angelinskii rubella-resistant variant of the scaly and mirror groups of carp in the prespawning and late feeding periods was carried out. The level of the antimicrobial properties of the C-reactive protein, nonspecific immune complexes in the blood serum, and phagocytic activity of neutrophils were studied. The study showed interbreed and inter-seasonal differences in some indicators. It is concluded that the higher level of bacteriostatic activity of blood serum in the rubella-resistant variant, compared with other groups of carp, provides a low percentage of immunodeficient individuals and resistance to pathogens of infectious diseases.

On the basis of the hematological, cytochemical, and biochemical blood indices, it has been established that the adaptive capabilities in common carp Cyprinus carpio and grass carp Ctenopharyngodon idella are higher than in silver carp hybrid Hypophthalmichthys molitrix × H. nobilis , while the potential for growth is, by contrast, higher in silver carp hybrid.
It is shown that fishbrood obtained from male catfish with high activity of serous alaninaminotransferase (ALT), have higher growth potential than fries from catfish with average and low values of the index. The body mass of recent fries of the experimental group was 10 times higher than that of control fish of the same age.
A comparative estimation of metabolism and phagocytic activity of peripheral blood neutrophyles in carp and catfish mothers under the conditions of second fish-breeding zone has been conducted. The results obtained showed species and sexual differences in fish physiology by their hematological, biochemical and cytochemical parameters connected with gonads' maturation and preparation to spawning.
