The aim of the research. To examine the morphological features of the gastric mucosa of teenagers infected by the different strains of Helicobacter pylori (HP). Materials and Methods. Biopsies antral mucosa and gastric body of 82 teenagers infected by HP. HP genotyping was performed by PCR method. Proliferation and apoptosis were determined by immunohistochemistry. Results. Severe inflammatory infiltration of the lamina propria of the gastric mucosa and increased epithelial cell renewal indicators was determined at infectioning cagA (+), babA2 (+) and iceA1 (+) by strains of HP. Significant increasing of apoptosis of epithelial cells index is also observed in infecting vacAs1 (+) or vacAs2 (+) by strains of bacteria, that, however, is not accompanied by the parallel increasing of the proliferation of these cells. Conclusion. The features of the gastric mucosa lesions of teenagers at HP infecting are defined by genetic variants of infect strains.
The prevalence of TLR4 (C6898A) and TLR9 (A2848G) gene polymorphisms and their associations with case history and clinical picture were studied in 425 patients of both genders, aged 18-80 years, with advanced stage of psoriasis vulgaris. Associations of TLR4 6898C/A mutant allele A with the guttat-type psoriasis, presence of psoriasis in the patient’s close relatives, presence of concomitant infectious or parasitic diseases, low dermatological quality of life index, and frequent relapses of the pathological process were detected. The TLR9 (A2848G) mutant allele G was associated with liability to exudation of psoriatic elements, inefficiency of therapy, high PASI score before therapy and its lesser changes over the course of treatment.
One of last suppositiones is that the psoriasis is disease with the activated congenital immunity. Studying of polymorphism of genes of family of Toll-like receptors together with TNF-a and IL-1 b is possible and will help to reveal new mechanisms of immunopathological reactions at psoriasis and to develop prognostic criteria of dermatosis, thereby to personalize treatment and to improve quality of life of patients.
It is strong association of cytokine gene polymorphism with increased risk of gastric cancer developing. However, risk vary greatly in different countries and ethnic groups, which requires a separate study. Aim of the study: to identify the association between polymorphic alleles interleukin-1B (IL-1B), interleukin-10 (IL-10) and tumor necrosis factor-a (TNF-a) genes and the risk of intestinal type of gastric cancer in the southern West Siberia population. Materials and methods: venous blood of 49 patients with intestinal type of gastric cancer was studied. The control group included 84 donors, without cancer history. We determined the polymorphic alleles of IL-1B C+3953T (rs1143634), TNF-a G-308A (rs1800629), IL-10 G-1082A (rs1800896) carrier. We calculated the odds ratio (OR) with confidence intervals (CI). Results: only polymorphic loci of IL-10 G-1082A was in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. It was found that the allele IL-10-1082A and genotype-1082A/A was associated with increased risk of intestinal type of gastric cancer (OR = 1,69; CI = 1,02-2,80; p
