Objective: To explore the application effect of video assessment method in clinical nurses’ nursing operation skills. Method: To select 58 nurses who participated in the individual soldier standard in the children’s hospital in 2019 and 2020 as the research objects, among which the nurses who participated in the individual soldier standard in 2019 were the nurses who participated in the individual soldier standard in 2019 and 2020. A total of 29 people in the first batch were set as the control group, using traditional assessment methods. In 2020, the second batch of 29 nurses who participated in the individual soldier standard reached the experimental group. Using the video assessment method, there was no significant difference in general information between the two groups (P > 0.05). After the assessment, the scores, coping with work pressure, and proactiveness of the two groups of research subjects were compared. Results: The experimental group’s nursing operation assessment scores, coping with work pressure, and proactiveness were significantly better than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The application of the video assessment method improves the passing rate of nurses’ operational skills examination, enhances nurses’ initiative in learning, reduces examination pressure, and can be accurately, timely, and safely applied to clinical nursing work, which is worthy of study and promotion.
To evaluate the application effect of the 360° safe indwelling infusion program of peripheral venous indwelling needle in the infusion room of pediatric outpatient clinic. A total of 1,000 children who received indwelling needle infusion were randomly divided into experimental group (n = 500; 360° safe indwelling needle) and control group (n = 500; a routine indwelling needle). The incidence of indwelling needle-related complications and adverse events in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the number of indwelling days, indwelling needle usage rate, and parent satisfaction were significantly higher than those in the control group. The 360° safe indwelling infusion program can significantly reduce the incidence of complications and adverse events, and improve the quality of the indwelling needle infusion. The 360° safe indwelling infusion can effectively improve the comprehensive quality and safety of nursing care in the outpatient infusion room.
Objectives: It aims to reduce the rate of vitamin D deficiency in children and enhance the importance of public and medical staff in timely supplementation of vitamin D and other healthy behaviors to recognize and promote the healthy growth of children. Methods: A retrospective research method was used to collect relevant literature with the key words of “children”, “vitamin D”, “growth and development”, and analyze the effect of vitamin D deficiency on growth and development in children aged 0-12 years and the prevention and treatment methods. Results: Vitamin D deficiency can affect bone health in children, cause developmental delays, and have potentially negative effects on the respiratory tract, nervous system, and autoimmune system. Prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiency in children is based on adequate sunlight and diet and vitamin D supplementation. Conclusions: Vitamin D deficiency can have a profound impact on the healthy growth of children. To meet the vitamin D requirements of children, in addition to adequate sunshine and a healthy diet, reasonable vitamin D supplementation is essential. Therefore, in the process of children's growth, supplementation of vitamin D should be paid great attention and the 25-(OH)D3 level in children monitored regularly to reduce the incidence of vitamin D insufficiency or deficiency.
