Objective To explore the effect of articular cavity injection of tranexamic acid on blood loss ,function recovery and post-operative complication after total knee arthroplasty .Methods Forty-six patients who got total knee arthroplasty caused by osteoarthritis ( OA) from Jan 2012 to Aug 2013 were selected and randomly divided into group A with topical application of tranexamic acid (23 cases) and group B(23 cases).Patients in group A were all injected 2.0g tranexamic acid with 20ml normal saline into articular cavity after ending seam skin surgery,while those in group B were injected 20ml normal saline and closed drainage tube 2h.The postoperative blood loss ,number of blood transfusion and blood transfusion volume,post operative hemoglobin(Hb) and hematocrit(Hct),6W postoperative knee HSS score,lower ex-tremity deep vein thrombosis ( DVT) or pulmonary embolism were compared between the two groups .Results Intraoperative total postopera-tive blood loss ,the number of blood transfusion and blood transfusion volume ,postoperative hemoglobin and hematocrit between the two groups indicated statistical significance(P<0.05).The postoperative 3h fibrinogen(Fg),prothrombin time(PT) and activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT) of the two groups had no statistical significance (P>0.05).The postoperative knee HSS scores of the two groups indicated no statistical significance (P 0.05).DVT was not found in 46 cases of patients by lower limb vascular Doppler ultrasound examination after oper -ating 2w,and neither were lower limb DVT or pulmonary embolism found by flowing up visiting in 6w postoperative.Conclusion Articular cavity injection of tranexamic acid can obviously decrease the postoperative blood loss and transfusion rate ,and it also doesn't increase the risk of DVT occurrence at the end of total knee arthroplasty .
Objective:To investigate the correlation between the symptoms and blood gas indicators,IL-8 level in lunghomogenates and pulmonary pathology in rats with Lung Qi deficiency syndrome caused by respiratory tract infection.Method:To develop rats with Lung Qi deficiency syndrome model with intranasal inoculation of respiratory biofilm bacterial(pseudomonas aeruginosa),combined with cold and fatigue,and to observe the symptoms and detcet blood gas indicators,IL-8 level in tissues and pulmonary pathology,and the group of BufeiYiqi treatment was set up to further prove it.Result:Chronic inflammation in bronchitis and surrounding pulmonary tissue was obvious in model group.pH,PO2 and SaO2% were significantly lower in model group than those in control group while PCO2 and IL-8 in lunghomogenates were significantlyhigher than those in control group(P0.01).In Bufei Yiqi treatment group,chronic bronchitis was not obvious and blood gas indicators and IL-8 of lunghomogenates were close to those of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Rats with Lung Qi deficiency syndrome due to respiratory tract inflections was related to chronic inflammation in bronchitis and surrounding pulmonary tissues,the decrease of pH,PO2,SaO2% and the increase in PCO2.The increase in IL-8 of Lunghomogenate solution was related to Lung inflammation.
Objective:To develop the rat model of lung-qi deficiency pattern so as to provide reliable animal model for the study of lung-qi deficiency pattern caused by chronic respiratory infections.Methods: Healthy SD rats were randomly divided into blank control group,smoked control group,high-,middle-,and low-concentration of bacterial model groups.The model groups were dripped with respiratory tract biofilm bacteria(Pseudomonas aeruginosa) through noses combined with cold and fatigue stimulus to induce chronic respiratory infections and lung qi deficiency pattern.The symptoms,swimming time,changes in weight,blood rheology and pathogenesis in bronchial and lung tissues and organs were observed.Results: The general signs of the model rats were in line with lung-qi deficiency pattern of traditional Chinese medicine,and their symptoms were more stable than that of the smoked control group.The swimming time and weight gain were less than that of the blank control group,especislly for the group of high concentration of bacteria(P0.05 or P0.01).Blood rheology was abnormal,bronchial and lung inflammation were evident,and the degree of inflammation was related to bacterial concentrations.Conclusion: Combined with droping respiratory tract biofilm bacteria(Pseudomonas aeruginosa) to the noses and cold and fatigue stimulus can develope the rat model of lung-qi deficiency pattern.The related index indicates that the models are of the pathogenesis characteristic of traditional Chinese medicine.Besides,the model was stable,easy to be replicated,and simliar to clinical origin.
