The research achievements of statistical energy analysis(SEA) method in prediction of interior noise of railway vehicles are described.The practical SEA examples applied in prediction of interior noise suburban cars are expounded,and the results are compared with the measurement results of noise level inside and outside of vehicle obtained in stationary test and operation test.The practicability of SEA is showed out.
