We have identified in the course of our study, which has been performed with the use of modern clinical and pathomorphological methods, the changes of renal parenchyma to be reversible in terminal A stage and irreversible in terminal B stage of hydronephrosis. Reconstructive procedures in terminal A stage have proved to be possible. It is necessary to drain the upper urinary tract for stage differentiation in the course of diagnosis making.
