A quantitative composition of the immunocompetent cell subpopulations in mucous membrane of a lobar bronchus was studied in pneumonia patients according to the illness course. Features of the cell infiltrate composition in the proper lamina were revealed and a phenotypic characteristic of interepithelial lymphocytes in the lobar bronchus mucosa was found.
The results of cell fission research in the epithelium and the stroma of large bronchus mucosa was done in 10 healthy persons and 73 patients with acute pneumonia according to the course of the disease. Autoradiography with 3 H-thymidine and immunohistochemistry with proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) were used. In all cases we obtained reliably high PCNA index of positive cell nuclei in comparison with a labeling level detected by the autoradiography. At the same time the labeling level dynamics in the epithelial and stroma cells of large bronchus mucosa maintained irrespective to the method used both in the healthy and in the course of the illness.
Lymph node metastasis-negative (N0) cases were immunohistochemically studied on paraffin-embedded tissue sections with antibodies against epidermal cytokeratin components, such as Keratin, Pan Ab-1 (Clone AE1/AE3). Micrometastases were found in 18.8% of lymph nodes N0 cases (109/580). There was a reduction in relapse-free survival in patients with lymphogenic micrometastases (p = 0.17).
We investigated expression of c-erbB-2 in gastric cancer. Gastric carcinoma tissues were obtained from 91 patients with gastric cancer who underwent curative resection. Expression of c-erbB-2 was assessed by immunohistochemical staining. Hyperexpression of c-erbB-2 was demonstrated in 34,1 % of cases with gastric carcinoma. C-erbB-2 expression correlated with advanced stage (р
Immune indexes in children with different bronchopulmonary disorders were investigated and individual sensitivity to immune-tropic medications was detected. The spectrum of effective immune-modulators in children with respiratory pathology revealed. The use of immuneБЮЛЛЕТЕНЬ Выпуск 24, 2007 43 tropic medications elected by individual sensitivity has shown positive immune-modulating effect at the immune indexes and good clinical effectiveness.
Immune indexes in children with different bronchi-pul-monary disorders were investigated and individual sensitivity to immune-tropic medications was detected. The list of effective immune-modulators in children with respiratory pathology revealed. The use of immune-tropic medications elected by individual sensitivity has shown positive immune-modulating effect at the immune indexes and good clinical effectiveness.
Immunocyte subpopulation in peripheral circulation, bronchial lavage, main bronchus mucosa during acute inflammation in pulmonary tissue have been studied in terms of quantitative content. Antigene presenting cells (HLA-DR+, CD14+), activated cells (CD38+, CD95+, CD71+), cytotoxic cells (CD8+, CD16+) as well as immunocytes with adhesive molecules (CD18+, CD11b+) have been shown to play an essential role in producing immune response. Phenomenon of immune cell redistribution from peripheral circulation to inflammation focus have been observed.
Structural, including immune homeostasis, is supported by the equilibrium between the populations of multiplying and destroying cells. The correlation between proliferating (CD75+) and ready for apoptosis (CD95+) immuno-cytes in different biological substances with detected respiratory viruses in bronchi lavage from patients with community acquired pneumonia was investigated. The change m cell number of investigated populations and their correlation depending on viral agent type was revealed.
Local and system immune response indexes examined Revealed, that population content of immune cells in the different biological substances (peripheral blood, bronchi lavage fluid and bronchi mucous) has marked differences. Cytokine profile indexes (IL-6, IL-4, G-CSF, TNF-a, INF-y) in the healthy persons bronchi mucous lymphocyte supernatant did not change with incubation's conditions changes. Immune cells topology investigation by immunohistochemistry method revealed that the content of lymphocytes higher among the cells of lamina propna in comparison with epithelial layer, and their spectrum is more wide additional subpopulations of natural killer cell-like (NK-1), HAM56, Plasma Cell (VS38c), IgG (A57H) and IgM were registered.
Systemic peripheral blood immunity and cytokine status peculiarities in children with chronic broncho-pulmonary pathology have been studied. Study results showed differences in immune reactions of children with congenital lung disorders during exacerbation stage. Immune response peculiarities and cytokine status in children showing broncho-obstructive syndrome symptoms and focal inflammation in lung tissues have been analyzed.
Systemic and local immunity state of lobe bronchi mucosa in patients with ambulatory pneumonia during acute stage have been studied. It was found that immunocytes relocate from blood circulation into inflammation focus. Mechanisms underlying quantitative changes in populations and subpopulations of immunocompetent cells have been determined. This state has been classified as immune insufficiency of peripheral blood values.
We have studied dynamics of inflammation changes in lobe bronchi mucosa during bronchoscopy in patients with ambulatory pneumonia. We determined morphological changes extent and percentage of immunocytes in lobe bronchi mucosa with patients being treated with dalargine. The number of CD45RO (OPD4), CD45RO (UCHL1), CD20cyB Cell (L26), NKI, HAM56, CD68 (PG-MI), Plasma Cell (VS38c), IgM, IgG (A57H), IgA (6E2C1) cells lobebronchi mucosa was determined with immune histochemical method. There was a significant improvement in lobe bronchi mucosa state in percentage terms in patients who were treated with dalargine. The study showed changes in immuno competent cells ratio which was probably due to dalargine positive effect.
We studied proliferation activity of epithelium and stromal cells and immunocompetent cells content in large bronchus mucosa in patients with pneumonia of different severity in terms of morphological changes. We showed the peculiarities of proper plate cellular infiltrate and defined phenotypic characteristics of interepithelium lymphocytes. Cellular infiltrate content of large bronchus mucosa was dependent on morphofunctional characteristics of mucosa in patients with pneumonia.
