The article reveals peculiarities of geologic setting and metallogeny of Eastern Tuva. Within this territory, the promising targets for development of gold-copper-molybdenum-porphyry ore formation are localized. The considered peculiarities permit outlining of a gold-copper-molybdenum province on the area of about 70 thousand square kilometers. The work describes the ore-dressing technology that provides high extraction of gold, silver, and copper (total extraction into concentrates: Au - 99.2%, Ag - 92.0%, Cu - 80.2%). The obtained concentrate is rich in copper (50%), gold, and silver, and this permits us to assign it to copper concentrates of the best KMO grade (GOST 48-77-74).
A study of environmental problems of development objects noble-metal mineralization is widely distributed in the territory of Tuva and adjacent areas of Mongolia have established the predominant development of Bereza-listvenitovoy Association metasomatic and hydrothermal altered rocks with superimposed, productive gold mineralization rossypeobrazuyuschey quartz-pyrite and quartz-ended arsenopiritovogo.
The paper contains geological description of the area as well as geological and commercial description of the Chingue-Kat River placer (Republic of Tuva). The concentrating technology of gold-containing sands of the placer has been described. The paper shows methods and devices for re-extraction of fine heavy minerals and metals in the process of panning, a screen-sluice, and a centrifuge rotor concentrator-desludger. Results of the seasonal work of Kandela Co., Ltd on the area by described technology are presented.
