The expression of membrane-bound and soluble CD38, CD50, HLA-1, CD95 molecules in plasma of patients with multiple myeloma and Waldenstream macroglobulinemia has been studied. The concentration of soluble molecules was measured using immuno-enzyme assay. The expression of membrane-bound molecules was examined by flow cytometry. We have observed that the concentration of soluble sCD38, sCD50, sHLA-1 after twice UV-irradiation increased in 48 h. The concentration of sCD95 after UV-irradiation decreased simultaneously with the increasing of membrane-bound CD95. Our findings indicate that the increasing of soluble molecules concentration which possess immunoregulatory activity alters the ligand-adhesive interaction of circulating cells and stroma, improves the microcirculation and results in positive clinical effect. We have also observed that after extracor-poral UV-irradiation the equilibrium of above mentioned homologous molecules changes.
