The problem of the annual growth in education of medical waste requires the development of integrated solutions in the organization of the optimal waste management, hazardous epidemiologically. In the metropolitan areas and large cities, where a high concentration of medical institutions, this problem is of particular relevance. Intensive growth of volumes of medical wastes in the cities of the Russian Federation in recent years is associated primarily with modernization of national health care and introduction of new sanitary norms and rules. The article discusses the dynamics of volumes of medical wastes, belonging to classes A, B and C, in the public health system of the city of Moscow. The comparative data analysis of diversified accounting policies for these wastes classes and their structural composition are given. A prognostic analysis of the dynamics of growth of volumes of medical wastes by 2017.
