Purpose. To analyze the existing classifications of peripheral retinal dystrophies. Material and methods. While writing a literature review, a search was made for data from domestic and foreign literature, mostly in the last 20 years. The search was carried out using the following keywords: «peripheral retinal dystrophies», «retinal detachment», «laser coagulation», «lattice degeneration». In total, 20 articles were selected that relate to the topic of this literature review. Results. Retinal detachment is a severe pathology leading to a significant reduction or loss of vision. Peripheral retinal dystrophies play a leading role in the development of retinal detachment. The leading role in the development of rhegmatogenous forms of peripheral degenerations is assigned to changes in the vitreous body with a traction effect on the retina. The question of the incidence of retinal detachment in its dystrophies remains debatable. In publications, we came across a large number of classifications of peripheral retinal dystrophies, covering from 8 to 20 different clinical forms. The question of which retinal dystrophies are predisposing or not predisposing to retinal detachment remains open. Visualization of the vitreoretinal interface in peripheral degenerations is relevant for determining treatment tactics. Optical coherence tomography is highly informative in the early diagnosis of the traction component, visualization of retinal tears and detachment, and determination of indications for laser coagulation of the retina. Conclusion. Retinal detachment is a severe pathology leading to a significant reduction or loss of vision. Peripheral retinal dystrophies play a leading role in the development of retinal detachment. The question of the incidence of retinal detachment in its dystrophies remains debatable. The issue of creating a working classification that reflects the morphology of the degenerative process and indications for laser treatment remains relevant. An outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection has caused 667 million cases. COVID-19 is a severe acute respiratory infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. The virus primarily affects the respiratory system and causes from mild signs, respiratory infection, to a severe course, acute respiratory distress syndrome. Multiple ophthalmologic manifestations in both the anterior and posterior segment of the eye are increasingly reported in the literature. Purpose. To present clinical cases of postocular ophthalmic manifestations on the ocular fundus. Material and methods. Four clinical cases of ophthalmologic manifestations in the posterior segment of the eyes that developed after a coronavirus infection were presented. All patients underwent ophthalmological examination including visometry, anterior segment biomicroscopy, as well as ophthalmoscopy with non-contact Volk 78D lens, optical coherence tomography (OCT) of macular area and OCT in angioregim (DRI OCT Triton plus, Japan). Treatment and recommendations were individualized according to ophthalmological indications. Results. Stabilization of postocular ophthalmic manifestations in the posterior segment of the eye. There was an increase in maximum corrected visual acuity (MCOZ), reduction of macular edema, adherence of neuroepithelial detachment (ONE). Conclusion. It is necessary to pay attention to the complaints of the visual organ in patients with COVID-19 in the early stages of the disease and in the nearest months after recovery. Our clinical observations show the necessity of further study of pathogenesis, clinic and treatment methods of ocular complications associated with COVID-19. Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) is a common retinal disease whose etiology and pathogenesis remain largely ambiguous. Subthreshold micropulsed laser (SMILV) treatment has been intensively used for the treatment of CSC over the last decade. Purpose. To develop a method for the treatment of macular edema in CSC by subthreshold micropulse laser exposure on the Navilas 577s navigation laser system. Material and methods. The study included 65 subjects (65 eyes), 32 to 54 years of age, with acute and chronic CSC. All patients underwent standard ophthalmological examination and additional examinations including: optical coherence tomography (OCT) Topcon DRI OCT Triton and OCT-A, Maia microperimetry, autofluorescence of the eye with Zeiss Clarus 500 wide angle imaging system. Treatment was performed by SMILV using Navilas 577s system in patients with acute and chronic forms. Results. The main criteria for the effectiveness of the treatment were: an increase in maximum corrected visual acuity (BCVA), a decrease in neuroepithelial detachment (ONE) and its attachment speed, a decrease in retinal thickness and an improvement in photosensitivity (SF). Conclusion. In the treatment of CSC, preference is given to SMILV exposure, which has a physiotherapeutic effect without visible damage to the retina. The Navilas 577s navigation laser system achieves the highest precision and efficiency in retinal laser treatment, while significantly reducing procedure time and patient discomfort.
