New materials for spatial temporal light modulation and holographic spatial filtering and storage are suggested. Thermal, temporal and energetic characteristics are investigated for shape memory alloy specimens, as well as characteristics of new high resolution holographic materials for the infrared spectral region.
Shape memory alloys as a new material for optical processor elements are suggested and temperature, time and energy characteristics of alloy specimens are investigated. Optical shutter, spatial light modulators and deflector developed on the base of shape memory effect are presented and the use of spatial light modulator as an input device of holographic correlator is considered.
