Methods: After ethical approval, spinal block was performed in ASAI-II 60 parturients undergoing elective caesarean section following 1000ml colloid preloading. Group RF received 15mg ropivacaine 25 g fentanyl and group RFM received 15mg ropivacaine 25 g fentanyl and 100 gr morphine (M). Sensory and motor block properties, hemodynamics, postoperative analgesia, foetal outcomes and side effects were evaluated. Intraoperative pain and muscle relaxation were assesed by using visuel analog scale by the surgeon. One-way analysis of variance, Tukey-HSD, and chi-square, T tests and Kruskall-Wallis tests were used for statistical analysis (p 0.05).

Amac: Pelvik kitle nedeni ile tanisal laparotomi yapilan ve kesin patoloji tanisi malign fibroz histiositom gelen bir hastada cerrahi sonrasi uygulanan radyoterapi ve kemoterapinin lokal ya da uzak organ rekurrensine ve sagkalim uzerine etkilerinin bir olgu sunumu olarak tartisilmasi. Olgu Sunumu: Pelvik kitle tanisi ile hastaya tanisal laparotomi uygulandi. Eksplorasyonda retroperitoneal ve intrapelvik 100x100 mm boyutlarinda solid kitle izlendi. Kitle cikarilarak frozena gonderildi; frozen sonucu liposarkom olarak belirtildi. Hastaya ayni seansta kitle eksizyonu, parsiyel omentektomi, sol ureter kateterizasyonu, sol ureter cevresinden kitle eksizyonu islemi yapildi. Postoperatif kemoterapi alan hastanin kontrol tomografi ve ultrasonografisinde mesane anteriorunda nuks kitle saptanmasi uzere ikinci kez operasyona alindi. Kitle rezeksiyonu yapildi ve isleme son verildi. Kesin patoloji tanisi Malign Fibroz Histiositom olarak gelen hastaya adjuvan radyoterapi verildi. Hasta operasyonun ikinci senesinde rekurrens olmadan saglikli bir sekilde yasamini surdurmektedir. Sonuc: Malign Fibroz Histiositom bag dokusu kaynakli tumoral bir dokudur. Tedavide en etkili yontem cerrahi rezeksiyondur. Adjuvan radyoterapi lokal ve uzak organ rekurrenslerini engellemekte iken, adjuvan radyoterapi ve kemoterapinin genel sagkalim uzerinde anlamli bir etkisi bulunmamaktadir.
Substituted homoallylic alcohols have been synthesised both by [2,3]-Wittig rearrangement of unsymmetrical bis-allylic ethers and reaction of alkenyl chloromethyl oxiranes with Mg/THF. These substrates were then oxidized using four different oxidants. When the substituted homoallylic alcohols were oxidized with pyridinium chlorochromate or zinc chlorochromate nonahydrate the corresponding carbonyl compounds were produced. The same substrates formed the corresponding allylic oxidation products together with epoxidation products when oxidized with t-BuOOH. When and t-BuOOH and catalytic amounts of OSO4 were used the allylic oxidation reaction was prevented and the only products formed were those in which the substituted double bond was epoxidized.

Substituted 1,5-hexadien-3-ols were synthesized by the [2,3]-Wittig rearrangement of unsymmetrical bis-allyl ethers, as well as by reactions of 1-(2-alkenyl)-2-chloromethyloxiranes with Mg/THF. The products were oxidized with pyridinium chlorochromate (PCC), zinc chlorochromate (ZCC), tert -butyl hydroperoxide in the presence of OsO 4 , and tert -butyl hydroperoxide alone. The oxidation of substituted 1,5-hexadien-3-ols with PCC and ZCC gave the corresponding carbonyl compounds. In the reaction with tert -butyl hydroperoxide catalyzed by OsO 4 the internal double bond in the substrate was regioselectively converted into epoxy group, whereas allylic oxidation was prevented.
This study was designed to evaluate the association between certain HLA antigens and tympanosclerosis. The serum concentrations of HLA antigens were measured by a microlymphocytotoxicity technique in patients with tympanosclerosis and compared with a healthy control group. The serum levels of HLA-B35 and -DR3 were significantly higher in the patients with tympanosclerosis. This result suggests that certain types of HLA antigens may play an important role as an indicator or mediator in the pathogenesis of tympanosclerosis.
