based at the Centre for Indigenous Peoples’ Nutrition and Environment (CINE) and the School of Dietetics and Human Nutrition at McGill University in Montreal. She completed a B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics, an M.Sc. in Nutrition, a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences, and is now Professor Emerita. With sustained research interests in Indigenous Peoples’ unique food resources, nutrition and nutrition interventions, she has worked with more than 40 cultures of Indigenous Peoples in different regions of the world. She chairs the Task Force on Traditional, Indigenous and Cultural Food and Nutrition of the International Union of Nutritional Sciences.
