Summary The paper proposes the use of a complex of equipment with the use of laser hydrocarbon detectors for the operational determination of environmental risks of objects of the oil and gas complex of the Carpathian region of Ukraine. Such objects include old wells with broken tightness, which were drilled in the Carpathian region of Ukraine, Poland and Romania in the 19th and 20th centuries. and their coordinates were lost. In order to obtain reliable information about their location and the level of pollution in the territory of the region, it is proposed to use a measuring complex based on a quadcopter, equipped with hydrocarbon measurement detectors for the operational determination of the most polluted zones as part of a methane laser detector, Lidar equipment and a GPS navigator.
This paper proposes and substantiates the use of laser detectors of hydrocarbons to quickly determine the zone of their highest concentration in the areas with degraded oil and gas wells and mines drilled in the Carpathian region of Ukraine, Poland, and Romania in the XIX-XX centuries. To obtain reliable information on the level of pollution in the region, it is proposed to use a measuring complex consisting of the laser methane detector, Lidar equipment, and GPS navigator installed on a quadcopter equipped with hydrocarbon measuring detectors to rapidly determine the areas of greatest pollution. A terrestrial measuring complex is also used to assess the level of oil and natural gas pollution of the near-surface layers of the atmosphere, soils, and rocks of Quaternary sediments consisting of: - a special sampler to assess the level of contamination of soils and Quaternary sediments by oil products; - installations for research on bulk models of filtration processes of oil-water mixtures in soils and Quaternary deposits; - special georadar ACULA 9000c with the ability to scan soils and rocks to a depth of 40 m. The article substantiates the use of information obtained from measuring systems to build an interactive map of gas and oil pollution in the region. To develop a set of technologies and equipment for cleaning areas from hydrocarbons, a method of using information on the levels of gas pollution and hydrocarbon pollution in the region is proposed. The development of the following technologies and equipment for cleaning areas is proposed: - technologies of ecologically safe reliquidation of degraded oil and gas wells, in which formation pressures in productive formations do not exceed 0.1 hydrostatic pressure in the well; - technologies of ecologically safe extraction of hydrocarbons from degraded oil and gas wells, in which formation pressures in productive formations are more than 0.5 hydrostatic pressure in a well; - technologies of reclamation of oil-contaminated soils with the help of mobile installations for cleaning and utilization of soils in difficult geological and mining conditions; - technologies for the use of natural gas from degraded wells and mines to generate electricity using cogeneration units. For the same purpose, it is possible to use fuel cells that use methane to directly convert chemical energy into electricity; - terms of reference for the manufacturing and testing of an experimental sample of the mobile installation for cleaning oil-contaminated soils
Summary In the study, the principles of creating a spatial database regarding karst processes are demonstrated. In particular, the subject area and existing solutions for the creation of spatial databases were analyzed, and a conceptual modeling approach was used. A geospatial data base was created and implemented using the PostgreSQL DBMS application with the PostGIS extension. The database created in the work contains both spatial and non-spatial tables. Also, for better design, several spatial tables have been added that do not have an internal connection with the main table, but only provide better data visualization. For clearer detail, the main table refers to the tables mentioned above. QGIS GIS and GeoServer GIS web mapping tools were used to visualize the created geodatabase. The developed spatial database is the basis for the creation of a geoportal of the corresponding topic, and the further development of its structure can ensure the implementation of monitoring and research of karst processes.
Summary The research is devoted to the influence of hydrogeological conditions on the formation of landslides for the territory of Ukraine. Special attention is paid to Ivano-Frankivsk region, where landslides have a significant spread. GIS analysis of the localization of landslides in relation to the structural units of hydrogeological zoning allowed to establish certain patterns of the territorial intensity of landslide processes coordinated with the mountain and plain landscape-hydrogeological complexes.
Summary The research is devoted to the creation of geoinformation tools for karst risk assessment for the territory of Vinnitsa region. Risk assessment was carried out by taking into account population density and the damage of the territory by karst processes. The geoinformation toolkit is based on a modern GIS - QGIS tool using Python programming language. The assessment of the damage to the territory by karst processes and the assessment of the karst hazard of the territory of the Vinnytsia region were carried out for two territorial levels - the level of administrative districts and the level of territorial communities (village, settlement, city councils). The possibility of automated construction of population density maps, invasion of the territory by karst processes, risks of karst hazard on the example of administrative-territorial units of Vinnitsa region is realized.
Summary The analysis of the hydrogeological conditions of the territory of the Stebnyk deposit of potassium salt was carried out. On the basis of the processing of groundwater levels observations, digital models of the level surface of the gypsum-clay hat soles aquifer were created as at 2004 and 2017, as well as the mapping of the groundwater level anomalies. The obtained models made it possible to assess the dynamics of the surface depression development within the area of mines No. 1 and No. 2 during the last decade, to outline the main current trends of groundwater movement for the studied territory, as well as to estimate the probability of the groundwater communication towards the mine No. 1.
Summary The purpose of the research is to develop a methodology for the regional analysis, modelling and assessment of the conditions of groundwater resources formation using GIS. The studied area is the Ukrainian Precarpathians (Ivano-Frankivsk region). In order to achieve the purpose, the materials on the conditions of the groundwater formation in the Ivano-Frankivsk region were analyzed, the structure of the appropriate geodatabase was developed and its filling was made in the GIS MapInfo environment, the geoinformation analysis of the hydrogeological parameters was carried out and the assessment of their interdependence was made. Analysis of the landslide localizations in relation to the structural units of the hydrogeological zoning allowed to establish certain patterns in the spatial intensity of the landslides associated with the spread of the certain types of mountain and plain landscape-hydrogeological complexes.
