The author analyzes Frankl's scientific, ethical and philosophical contributions to psychology and psychological therapy: problems of life's meaning and responsibility, placing therapy in the spiritual perspective, the matter of truthfulness of psychological conceptions of man.
The author discusses the dyad much less thanteacher pupilmuch greater than in science on the example of cooperation between A.N. Leontiev and L.S. Vygotsky, putting forward the hypothesis of repeating (archetypical) cycles in the life of a scientist. The logic of continuity between generations is shown on the example of the emergence of sense-oriented conceptions of personality in A.N. Leontiev's school.
The author discusses the possibility to return the notion of the soul into scientific psychology. He stresses the duality of soul interpretation: on one hand it is considered to be an organ of emotional experiences and feelings, on other hand it is argued to be eternal immortal substance and energy. The possibilities of these two sides' interaction are considered as well as the perspective of Christian-oriented psychology and psychotherapy creation.
The differentiation of notions <<human being>> and <<personality>> is substantiated and the consequences of such a differentiation for concrete notions of developmental norm and personality health demonstrated. The images and models of human being on which humanitarian and christian approaches in psychology are based, are analysed. For the first time the possibilities of moral-oriented psychology are detailed.
The interrelations of pathopsYchology and psychiatry are analysed. Basing his position on B. V. Zeigamik's opinion that psychological disfunction accompanying certain psychic disease has probability character the author discusses the role of pathopsychology in the understanding of disease's nature and argues that pathopsychology must not be considered as nosological form of psychological environment.
