This paper constructs a frame of distance learning system which transfers the media data on the network base on custom streaming media.The custom media format follows the RIFF criterion,multi-video and audio can be saved as a file.The system has characteristics of lower cost,simple storage,better synchronal of multimedia courseware,better expansibility and so on.The system applies to various aspects such as distance learning,video on demand.
