The sustainable development of agricultural production is threatened by the increasing aggravation in soil salinization.Two aspects have been considered to resolve such problem: improvement of saline soil and salinity plant breeding.The selection of existing salt-tolerant plant species and the creation of new salttolerant varieties by biotechnology are major methods in breeding salt-tolerant plant species.With the deepened study of the molecular mechanisms of salt-tolerant plants and continuous improvement of transgenic technology,the cultivation of high efficient salt-tolerant breeds by modern biotechnical methods has become a popular research interest.In this article,the selection of plant salt-tolerant mutants,the cloning of salt-tolerance related genes and transgenic studies in recent years was discussed.
In order to meet the requirements of cultivating the practical abilities and creativities of students who receive higher education, we initiated the reformation of education in the microbiology experiment teaching methods, implementing a system for module-based education, carefully monitoring every link in teaching, combining the encouragement and strict requirements together, adopting a proper way of assessment. It is proven that the implementation of the educational reformation mobilizes the interests of students and enhances the comprehensive qualities of students, which accomplishes the purposes of teaching.
