The phase Ⅲ CASPIAN study established durvalumab (D) plus etoposide with cisplatin or carboplatin (EP) as first-line standard of care (1L SoC) of ES-SCLC. The multicenter, single-arm, phase Ⅲb ORIENTAL study evaluated 1L D+EP in a large, real-world-like patient (pt) cohort in China. Preliminary safety and efficacy results were consistent with CASPIAN. Here we report final results and subgroup analysis.
Third-generation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) have revolutionized the standard treatment for EGFR sensitive and resistant mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Osimertinib as one of the third-generation EGFR-TKIs is currently the most advanced in clinical development worldwide. Interstitial lung disease (ILD) is a potentially fatal side effect of osimertinib use. The aim of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of aumolertinib in EGFRm+ NSCLC patients with ILD after treatment with osimertinib.
