Objetivo: Mostrar de forma clara a metodologia PBL e sua aplicação em um curso de desenvolvimento de jogos para alunos do Ensino Médio. Método: Estudo baseado no método de pesquisa-ação, utilizando para coleta de dados o método descritivo. Resultados: Foi observado que a desistência dos alunos foi superior a 50%. Conclusão: Os alunos tiveram a oportunidade de construir jogos, a partir do tema Cidades Inteligentes, e desenvolver seu conhecimento de forma ativa, melhorando sua comunicação e espirito de liderança.
Component-Based Software Development (CBSD) is focused on assembling existing components to build a software system, with a potential benefit of delivering quality systems more fast, thus, increasing its productivity. These benefits are just achieved if the software components used to compose the software system were previously evaluated in order to establish a certain quality level. However, there are a set of different risk levels associated to each software component, depending, mainly, on its application domain, mainly in embedded domain. In this way, we aim to propose an embedded software component maturity model in order to assure quality for each kind of embedded software component risk-level, describing its levels, techniques adopted and the guidelines for selection evaluation levels. A preliminary case study was accomplished in order to prove its real applicability and viability.
Component-Based Software Engineering (CBSE) is being used in a w ide variety of application areas, including embedded systems. It promises increased reuse leading to higher quality and reduced time to market. The correct operation of the components is often critical for business success and, in some cases, human safety. In this way, assessment, evaluation and certification of embedded software components has become a compulsory and crucial part of any CBSE lifecycle. Thus, the embedded software components quality evaluation has become an increasingly essential activity in order to bring reliability in (re)using embedded software components. In this sense, this paper presents a survey of embedded software component quality and certification research.
