Distance education,with the rapid development of online technologies and its unique flexibility and convenience,has become the key mode of lifelong learning and development.Skills and qualities of online tutors,as the core of distance education,determine the quality and effectiveness of distance education.Hence,training online tutors has become one of the most important measures to ensure distance education quality.Literature review provides a general picture of tutors' roles,responsibilities and requirements,and teacher training worldwide in general.Focus group interviews of Directors of Studies and tutors show the current situations of teacher training in domestic online colleges.Suggestions are put forward for future teacher training in these online colleges.

对当前英语外语教育(英语作为外语,English as a Foreign Language,以下简称“EFL”)实践和相关文献的分析表明,大多数EFL实践仍然是教师主导学习过程的传统语言学习形式,学生是知识的被动接受者.此外,EFL学习也因为学习者很少有机会在课堂之外进行实践而受到置疑.以学生为中心、有意义的、情境化的语言学习实践能够解决EFL当前所面临的这些困境,移动技术和社交网络具备创建这种学习实践的潜力,它们不仅仅能建立在学习者需求和经验的基础上,并且可以让学习者参与课堂之外的整个学习过程.此外,很多关于移动学习的文章强调移动学习能够为学生创建情境化、有意义的、真实的学习机会.本研究选择33位EFL的大学本科学生,在一个16周的学期中进行设计研究.研究中,学生们通过移动电话访问Facebook,并由此体验情境化学习.本文得到如下结论:移动社交网络媒体,比如Facebook,提供了丰富的、情境化的课外语言学习机会,拓展了课堂学习环境.此外,移动Facebook为学习者提供了真实的学习体验,学习者能够运用自己的知识,在真实情境中实现个人价值.
