This column describes some of the new electronic dictionaries in the social and behavioral sciences that are available free of charge on the Internet.

Abstract This column reviews the Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection, published by EBSCO. This database contains a large number of full text scholarly journal articles in psychology and the behavioral sciences.

ABSTRACT The development of a graphical browser in 1993 brought about immense changes in what resources libraries could easily access and make available. Entire states promoted connectivity of diverse types of libraries. National and international library catalogs became as easy to access for bibliographic verification as one's own catalog. Links to various grouping of libraries (e.g., U.S. State Libraries, Special Libraries, and Academic Libraries) are given.

There are a variety of websites and newsgroups that focus on Africa and African life. The links reviewed range from economic to health and science to the arts and current events.
