Ms. Moore began her career in social work at a group home for teenage girls in Morgantown, West Virginia while completing her bachelor’s degree in Social Work at West Virginia University. Upon graduating with her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky in 2003, Ms. Moore’s post-graduate career began at Croney and Clark, Inc. (now KVC Behavioral HealthCare Kentucky), providing therapeutic case management and individual, collateral and group therapy with children, adolescents and families. Currently, Ms. Moore serves as the Director of Training, Development and Compliance for KVC Kentucky. In her role, Ms. Moore is responsible for KVC Kentucky’s community engagement and philanthropic efforts as well as development and implementation of the agencies internal and external training program, compliance with Federal and State contracts, and oversight of KVC Kentucky’s Joint Commission Accreditation. Ms. Moore has worked as part of the KVC Kentucky leadership team over the past 12 years to develop and implement many agency-wide initiatives to maintain KVC Kentucky’s commitment to high quality services for Kentucky’s most vulnerable children and families. Ms. Moore is incredibly proud of the work of KVC Kentucky’s dedicated, passionate and highly-skilled practitioners as they come alongside individuals and families in crisis and is proud to be part of an organization that is innovative in its approach to solving "big systems" problems through collaborative partnerships using best practice interventions. Ms. Moore is passionate about developing the next generation of social work professionals and has served as Adjunct Faculty in the UK College of Social Work since 2011. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Social Work degree and is a proud member of the inaugural UK College of Social Work DSW cohort. Ms. Moore is most proud to be the mother of a smart, kind, talented, fierce 14 year old daughter, Naomi, who inspires her to keep going every day.
