Considering the remarkable historical, artistic, monumental, demoethno-anthropological, archaeological, archival and national library heritage, in order to improve the management and safety of places of fulture, it becomes essential to focus attention on the new 6G technology which will allow the fusion of digital world with the physical world capaple of transmitting huge amounts pf data and information in seconds. The places of culture (archaeologifal areas, archaeological parks, museums, monuments, archives, libraries), like other built places, thanks to 6G technology and its flexibility, versatility, sustainability, reliability, will be able to become completely interconnected.
Cultural heritage sites such as places of archaeological interest generally extend over wide areas. Those who manage such sites need to ensure cultural heritage preservation, visitor safety, security and access and need to take into consideration visitors with disabilities. This fundamental goal is attainable by means of integrated systems and innovative technologies, such as the Internet of Everything (IoE), which can link together people, things (mobile terminals, smart sensors, devices and actuators, wearable devices), information (data, knowledge) and processes. Since much information is needed to design a suitable IoE-based system, necessary to realize a Smart Archaeological Area, an appropriate methodology has been developed. The purpose of this article is to report on a suitable analysis and data acquisition method based on flying drones, necessary for the design and realization of such an IoE-based integrated system for archaeological areas. To ensure practicality, reasonable final costs, minimal risk levels and an elevated level of reliability and resilience, we consider the restrictions imposed by a typical archaeological area and use it to assess the system we have developed.
The purpose of this paper is to illustrate an Internet of Everything based integrated security system for archaeological areas capable of ensuring visitors security, cultural heritage preservation/protection and great usability for visitors, with particular reference to visitors with disabilities. Genetic Algorithms (GAs) have been used to design the integrated security system, in particular for fields elements such as Wi-Fi Access Points, CCTV cameras, installation poles (to respect the archaeological vincula of the site) to ensure a reduction of final costs and a high level of reliability and resilience of the system itself, keeping, into consideration, the typical vincula and restrictions of archaeological areas The proposed system, together with the GAs based optimization technique, thanks to its flexibility, can be used in any kind of archaeological area or any kind of cultural site by means of a proper adaption.

Nel 2010 si celebrano i 400 anni della morte di Caravaggio e Carpineto Romano, piccolo centro sui Monti Lepini, festeggia il ritorno della tela “San Francesco in meditazione" che fu rinvenuto su una parete della chiesa di San Pietro Apostolo. L’opera fu spostata poiché la sede di Carpineto si riteneva non idonea. Il comune si è attivato per poter riospitare l’opera d’arte e ha allestito una sede con impianto museale innovativo nella cui realizzazione è stato coinvolto il CNR.
